“Trademark You”

Macy’s fall campaign, “Trademark You,” celebrates the magic of great attire and the power to create your own signature style. The exciting commercial is packed with captivating fashions and fast-paced vignettes that follow four women as they create their signature looks. From donning a striking bright purple coat as you walk into a room full of blue-clad coworkers, to sporting a tweed suit with combat boots, or complementing the perfect look with a pair of oversized earrings, the commercial showcases these elegant women. dressing in a way that feels personal and unique. Produced by Macy’s in collaboration with agency BBDO, the campaign runs across television, print and digital media.

All About Color

This fall get ready to step out again in bright, bold colors from head to toe. Color blocks blend between wardrobe pieces and are paired with accessories in shades that make an impact. Whether it’s an oversized coat over a matching ensemble, or a pop of color in boots or ankle boots, the more color the better. Beauty is displayed through rich, pigmented colors that stand out on the cheeks, eyelids, and lips. Multipurpose products create a monochrome look all over the face.

The Gray Area

A sophisticated take on classic fall pieces, shades of gray are the new color black. From full tonal looks in fabrics, cold weather apparel and individual pieces to basic fall accessories made with soft volume materials and chain metal accents, shades of gray can easily be used in a cozy lounge casual setting to a more sophisticated outfit. This monochrome look is emphasized with chunky-soled boots. Complementing the ‘shades of gray’, smoky-toned eyes replace the minimalist trend that has been dominating in recent seasons. Inspired by elements of nature, the line has been designed to include select items made from a blend of cotton and TENCELTM Lyocell fibers that are made from renewable sources of wood and others made from 100 percent cotton with an Ethicot blend, a recycled cotton. made from pre-consumed textile waste. Many of the items are stamped “MADE IN GEREN” (Made in Green) by OEKO-TEXTM certification, which guarantees that an item is free from more than 350 harmful substances. In honor of the launch, Macy’s donated 50,000 trees to One Tree Planted. These trees will be planted in California to help replenish forest cover that was lost during the devastating 2020 wildfires.
