Blizzard Entertainment announced that it would be holding its flagship BlizzCon event after 1 year of not celebrating with fans due to the pandemic. Despite not being able to share with fans in person, the company made players feel the warmth of excitement for the games thanks to a large number of games that it revealed at the event and one of the ones that caused the most excitement was the remastering of Diablo II.
After offering a lot of information on Diablo IV and Diablo Immortal, the company shared one last surprise for fans of the franchise: the confirmation of Diablo II Resurrected. The rumors turned out to be true, as Blizzard Entertainment finally remastered, which will include many new features that will attract new players without neglecting the old ones.
Diablo II is coming to consoles for the first time
We say this because this new version of Diablo will be a remastering that will improve the 2D visuals and present them in 3D not only from the original game, but also from the Lord of Destruction expansion. In addition, it will feature 27 minutes of film, recreated based on the original material.
Best of all, not only PC gamers will be able to enjoy this new version, it will also be coming to consoles! That’s right, you can try it on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and even Nintendo Switch!
Diablo II Resurrected will have cross-progression support, so you won’t have to worry about the platform you play on, as you can enjoy it where you left off on any system.
We leave you with the reveal trailer.
Diablo II Resurrected is expected to be available sometime in 2021 on consoles and PC.
