We are already less than a month away from Cyberpunk 2077 making its debut. Like many other gamers, you are likely eager to see all that this project and Night City have to offer. CD Projekt RED knows this and that’s why they showed their game in a new gameplay that answers various questions like, what happened to the world? and Who is Johnnny Silverhand?

Through a 5 minute footage, CD Projekt RED showed us many of the things to expect in Cyberpunk 2077. The first thing you have to know is that this RPG takes place in a dystopian future in which an economic crisis led to to a nuclear conflict that left the United States in a sorry state.

Thus, most of the territories have become lawless places, but large cities such as Night City have also emerged. These are places that, with a lot of technology, promise to deliver a civilized future. Mind you, things are darker than they seem and there is a lot of conflict between different factions.

In Night City you will take control of a mercenary who takes different jobs to earn money. This money can be used to improve your capabilities with technology, weapons and more.

Do you want more? Then you’ll be happy to hear that CD Projekt RED released another trailer for Cyberpunk 2077. It’s a video focused on Johnny Silverhand, the character played by Keeanu Reeves.

It is a short video that reveals that Silverhand is a rock star and terrorist who is trapped in your mind. This after a dangerous mission forced you to implant a dangerous chip containing Silverhand’s digitized soul.

Silverhand’s goal is to get revenge on the corporation that created the chip and will expect you to help them do so. That’s not all, since carrying the chip will also make you have visions about some of the memories of this character.
