Cryptocurrency : Watford FC and Stake.com announce new multi-year main partnership

Watford today announced a new multi-year partnership with Stake.com, the world’s leading sports betting and crypto casino platform. Starting in 2021/22, the club-record partnership and agreement will see Stake become the club’s title sponsor on its return to the Premier League.

What does the agreement or alliance consist of?

The multi-year deal, paid for in cryptocurrency, unites one of the fastest-growing cryptocurrency brands with a Premier League hopeful looking to make his mark following his rise from the Championship last season.

As Stake continues its global expansion, the partnership with Watford FC will leverage the global appeal of the Premier League to raise awareness of the brand around the world, especially in the UK, with the launch of Stake.co.uk.

To commemorate the start of the partnership, Stake will carry out cryptocurrency-themed initiatives, including a 10 million Dogecoin giveaway on its international platform. In addition to this, the UK public can look forward to multiple other promotions and giveaways as Stake launches its UK website, Stake.co.uk.

What is Stake and why is this alliance so important?

Founded in 2017, Stake.com is one of the leaders in its industry, with more than 30 billion transactions per year representing more than 5% of Bitcoin transactions worldwide. The partnership with Watford FC marks an expansion of Stake’s sports sponsorship portfolio, following the brand’s introduction as an Official Gambling Partner of the UFC in Latin America and Asia in March.

Scott Duxbury, President of Watford FC, said: “We are delighted to welcome Stake as our main shirt sponsor for the 2021/2022 season. This will be an extremely exciting campaign for the club as we return to the Premier League, and we couldn’t be more pleased to join a partner that matches our ambitious outlook and our commitment to innovation to achieve success.

Mladen Vuckovic, Managing Director of Stake.co.uk, said: “In recent years we have seen steady growth from Stake and this partnership with Watford marks the next chapter for our company. We couldn’t be more excited to partner with a club that has such an immense history and yet has a true innovative spirit. We are committed to becoming a key part of the Watford family and we have several exciting initiatives planned for the fans in the coming months.
