Criminals in Puerto Rico They were recorded while shooting from a moving vehicle from the 65th Infantry Avenue in the metropolitan area.
The shooting was reported by the Monte Park residential complex, in the capital San Juan.
The director of the San Juan CIC, Ángel Martínez, indicated that a 22-year-old young man was injured in relation to the shooting on Monday that appears in the video circulating in local media.
“He was investigated for homicides. Yesterday, a 22-year-old man was injured in the Monte Park area. He has injuries to his back and legs, ”said the police spokesman. in an interview with Radio Isla station.
In the recording, one of the gunmen from behind is seen inside the car and no less than 20 bullet detonations are heard.
At one point the criminals seem to stop and express that the weapon was “locked” before continuing with the attack.
Martínez told the radio station that what was reported in Monte Park is part of the war that confronts some residents of that residential area with those of Monte Hatillo and Capetillo.
No arrests have been made at this time as a result of the investigation.
Agents attached to the Monte Hatillo barracks preliminarily investigated the incident and referred the case to the Assault Division of the San Juan Criminal Investigation Corps.
Historically, tenants of these public housing complexes have fought for control of drug points in the Río Piedras area.
