After 66 days, the Toledo parish was able to return to Salto del Caballo. The reduction of sanitary measures from the Castilla-La Mancha Community Board in the face of the evolution of COVID19 have meant that half a thousand spectators – the maximum allowed by the authorities – have enjoyed this Sunday a provincial derby against Illescas in which in addition to fans, the rain has been the protagonist.
The last time the fans of the Imperial City saw football live was on December 20, in Toledo’s 4-0 win against Tarancón, But the advance of the pandemic meant that for more than two months spectators could not attend the Toledo installation. Despite the request by several clubs for the public to return to the stadiums in recent weeks, until this Sunday the authorities have not allowed attendance due to the data caused by Covid-19 in the region.
The health protocol in Castilla-La Mancha will allow, from now on and until further notice, a 50% capacity in open sports venues, up to a maximum of 500 people. While in pavilions 30% will be allowed up to a maximum of 300 spectators.
