COVID-19 : Coronavirus | New restrictions in Andalusia: measures, curfew, confined areas and perimeter closures

Despite the fact that contagions are reducing, Juanma Moreno, president of the Junta de Andalucía, ruled out a rapid de-escalation this Wednesday because of there is no use running “if the pandemic is going to stop us short”. In this sense, he indicated that “we all want to de-escalate and recover spaces”, but assured that “unfortunately the circumstances do not exist yet” to carry out a rapid de-escalation, as “some economic sectors legitimately request.”

“We have to be very careful, we continue to have the british variant, what it is increasingly present in Andalusia and that it is replacing the one in Wuhan in a much faster and surprising way than it seemed we were going to have, “he stressed. He also recalled that two variants circulate in Spain, “One of them confirmed, the South African”, while in Portugal the Brazilian is present. According to the president, these variants are “Complex” and, furthermore, “we do not have all the information about how they are and how they will behave”, but they have shown “They infect much more” and therefore, “They are much more dangerous”.
