CHINA: 19 IMPORTED CASES, NONE LOCAL
China’s health authorities have reported that the Asian country still does not register any case of locally transmitted coronavirus, although it has added 19 new positives. Of the total number of cases that China accumulates this Tuesday, 10 have presented symptoms, while another nine are asymptomatic.
The Chinese Ministry of Health has also confirmed that during the last day 37 patients have been discharged after his recovery from the disease, from which no fatalities have been recorded this Tuesday.
So far, China has detected 4,949 imported cases of coronavirus, of which 4,775 have recovered, while another 174 remain hospitalized. Among these imported infections, there have been no deaths.
On the other hand, the Health portfolio has counted 89,852 confirmed cases of COVID-19 until Tuesday, since the count divides it into local and imported cases.
A total of 374 patients remain under treatment, one of them in serious condition, the authorities have detailed, who have also specified that 84,842 of these cases have already been discharged. The death toll from the coronavirus in the Asian country remains at 4,636.
Also this Tuesday there was a suspected case of the disease and 8,002 close contacts remain under medical observation, while a total of 302 asymptomatic cases are also under medical observation, 266 of which are imported.
For its part, Hong Kong registers 10,884 positives since the outbreak of the pandemic, as well as 197 deaths from the virus.
