COVID-19 : Coronavirus Bolivia: how long can the Hunger Bonus be collected?

The Bonus Against Hunger It is a subsidy that the Government of Bolivia is distributing during the coronavirus pandemic to the citizens most affected by the economic crisis. A few days ago, the Ministry of Economy and Finance published the dates to collect the aid of 1,000 Bolivians.


Ivette Espinoza, Vice Minister of Pensions and Financial Services, reported that the payment of the Bono Contra el Hambre helped more than 3.8 million Bolivians through February 1. The Government allocated 3,877 million Bolivians to help more than 3,888,000 people, of which 3,444,895 received it at the bank windows and the rest were collected in the form of payment on account.

Payment of the Hunger Bonus It will continue until next March 1 in all banks in Bolivia or by means of a bank account. It is intended to reach more than 4.1 million beneficiaries. In addition, that it reaches the rural area to help 1.2 million people.

The subsidy can be charged within 90 days, so that people who did not receive it according to the schedule, can do so from January 27 to March 1, 2021, according to the Ministry of Economy.
