Coronavirus | Restrictions in Madrid: which health zones are confined, which are not, and for how long?

As of this Monday, ten basic health areas in Madrid regain mobility after lifting the perimeter closure to which they had been subjected thanks to the decrease in cumulative incidence in the last 14 days by 50% or more. This assumes that a 2% of the Madrid population it can now circulate freely in the region.

Specifically, the areas that end today the mobility and activity limitations are located mainly in the capital: The Espinillo, Saint Andrew Y San Cristobal (Villaverde); Rafael Alberti Y Peña Prieta (Puente de Vallecas); Y Vinateros-Torito (Moratalaz). The rest of the neighborhoods in which the restrictions end are the Compass and Borders (Torrejón de Ardoz), San Blas (Parla) and the town of Guadarrama full.

Antigen test in seven municipalities

According to data from the latest weekly epidemiological report, the cumulative incidence in the region stands at 328 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

To continue stabilizing the situation, the regional Executive will carry out antigen tests in seven municipalities, starting with Alpedrete, which has a cumulative incidence rate of 549 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days. On Tuesday, the operation will continue in the basic area of San Martin de Valdeiglesias (incidence of 742), in the municipality of San Martín de Valdeiglesias, and in that of Villaamil (324), in the Madrid district of Tetuán. On Thursday, the tests will reach the basic health area of Compass (229), in Torrejón de Ardoz, and that of Olive valley (267), in Majadahonda. On Friday, they will be held in the health area of San Martin de Valdeiglesias, in the territory that corresponds to the municipality of Pelayos de la Presa. Finally, on Saturday, there will be tests in the health area of Collado Villalba Station (590), in Collado Villalba.

The citizen who must attend the test will receive a text message on the mobile with the day and time. It is expected to test some 1,500 – 2,000 people per day and basic zone health, to avoid unnecessary waits and crowds. In addition, the health card individual to undergo the test.
