URKULLU: “CHRISTMAS CANNOT BE AS IT ALWAYS BEEN”
The Lehendakari, Iñigo Urkullu, has stated that this Christmas will be “absolutely different” and has made a call to “contain” social and family encounters, to limit them to the “bubble group” of six people.
For the moment, he recalled that the restrictive measures implemented by the Basque Government will last until December 10, to overcome the Immaculate Bridge, and has ruled out, “today”, home confinement, although he has not hidden that it is something that is on the table, “in case the situation worsens” to the point of having to resort to it.
Urkullu has assured, in an interview with Onda Vasca, collected by Europa Press, that, the more disciplined the citizenship When it comes to keeping preventive and security measures, more confinement and the adoption of other more drastic measures can be avoided.
The Lehendakari recalled that Christmas “can’t be like it’s always been”, and has urged to make the “effort” to contain life and social encounters by limiting them to “bubble groups.” In this sense, he has set out to “identify well” those six people of family or social contact.
