The president of the Football Association in Beni, Ángel Suárez, announced this news, noting that “this disease took recognized athletes, it is unfortunate to give this type of information.”

“As an association we are shocked by everything that is happening in the country and the world for a virus that has already taken many lives, the coronavirus is hitting Beni. You have to ask people to comply with the government’s determinations, “said the boss.

In addition to the player, the family also suffered the death of the father, Belizario Román, who stopped hours after his son due to the same disease and the athlete’s uncle, who was also the team’s coach.

Nicknamed the ‘Kiki’, the Bolivian defender defended the colors of the Bolivian national team in the U15, 16 and 17 teams.
