Will Samurai Shodown come to Steam?

It is important to say that in the video and in the official statement (via Gematsu) it only refers to the PC version for the Epic Games Store, so it is not known if the game will debut at the same time on Steam. The latter is very unlikely, because at the time of publishing the note the title does not yet have a page on Steam.

A year ago, it was revealed that SNK smashed a deal with the Epic Games Store, which would secure the fighting game’s debut on the Epic Games Store sooner than on Steam and consoles. However, it seems that the Japanese company did not affect the launch on consoles, but it did accept an exclusivity on PC. In case of an exclusivity agreement with the Epic Games Store, it is very likely that it will be one of months (or even 1 year), so the title could reach PC almost 2 years after its original release. We will keep you informed.

Samurai Shodown (2019) is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. In less than 1 month it will reach PC (via Epic Games Store). You can read more news related to him if you visit his file.
