Activision has very good news for Call of Duty fans, as in a few days it will release a lot of new content for both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War. This will happen with the start of its Season 2, which will start next week.

There will be surprises for the community of both titles, as the company will launch new operators, more powerful weaponry and will also expand the Zombies experience with a new experience called Outbreak.

As expected, there will also be new maps and multiplayer game modes. All of this will come with seasonal challenges, more prestige levels, and other surprises.

CoD: Black Ops Cold War will receive these news in its new season

Activision revealed that Season 2 of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone will kick off next week. To be more exact, the first round of new content will arrive on Wednesday, February 25 with an update that will be available shortly before for both titles.

What’s new is Outbreak, a new zombie experience that will take players to Russia. Your mission will be to investigate dark aether outbreak zones throughout the Ural Mountains.

New enemies and rewards will be found, which can be obtained by taking down elite rivals. Likewise, 4 new operators will be released for Black Ops Cold War: Naga, Maxis, Wolf and Rivas.

All of them will arrive with powerful weapons, such as the FARA 83 assault rifle, the LC10 submachine gun, a machete, a folding shovel for military use, the R1 Shadowhunter and the ZRG 20mm rifle. As if that were not enough, there will be 4 more maps for multiplayer: Apocalypse (6 vs. 6), Golova (teams), Mansion (2 vs. 2, 3 vs. 3) and Miami Strike (6 vs. 6).

Players will have access to more game modes, including a free-for-all called Gun Game, Depot (6 vs. 6), and Hot Spot, where 10 teams of 4 players will battle. Below I leave you a trailer of the news:

Call of Duty: Warzone will have new game modes

Call of Duty: Warzone will receive part of the news for Black Ops Cold War, such as its operators and weapons. Additionally, Activision prepared new points of interest in the Battle Royale, which will give a greater variety to the games.

Players can find a mysterious ship that appears to be loaded with valuable rewards. Also, they will be able to discover a mystery in Versdansk, where a roar is heard in the underground.

Throughout the season, Extraction will be launched, a new mode where there will be a portable radio that will give victory to the player who keeps it as long as possible. However, escaping will not be easy, as the player with the valuable item will be marked on the map.

In the launch week of Season 2, Extreme Resurgence will be enabled on Rebirth Island, a mode with respawns for up to 90 players.
