Animal Crossing is one of the most adorable and cuddly series in the Nintendo universe. So much so that now that the company wants to adapt its games to other media, there are those who have suggested a live-action series in the style of Rilakkuma and Kaoru. While it seems that Nintendo is very busy thinking about other things, a Chilean fan decided to imagine what it would be like.
Gabriel Salas, a young Chilean, assembled a team of creatives to work on a trailer for a stop motion series for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. In it we can see Canela preparing everything in his office before greeting the players as he does every time you start the game.
“This fan-made project comes out of my appreciation for the Rilakkuma and Kaoru series and Animal Crossing games,” Salas mentioned in the video description. After playing New Horizons for a few days I wondered what it would be like to combine both universes and I thought about expanding the character of Cinnamon. This is how I imagine a television show or short of this style would be ”.

The result of the efforts of Salas and his collaborators is impressive. Although this is a short video, it is enough to capture the essence of the products that inspired you. In fact, it makes us really want to see such a production come true.
