Today’s Cosmo Queen is Selma Nilla (and I’m obsessed with her stage name, BTW.) In this episode, she did some next-level glam cosplay. Selma took inspo from Marvel’s WandaVision, which is a show you’ve prob heard about, (unless OFC you were stuck on a deserted island this past spring.) Her bold Scarlett Witch ensemble was everything.
Selma is a big Marvel fan, but she told us her work draws inspiration from a bunch of different sources. “A lot of musical theater actors influence me, Beth Level, Megan Hilty, Megan Mullaly, to name a few.”
“Meryl Streep is also a huge inspiration for me. Someone who truly was told“ no ”over and over again but persisted and became the superstar she was destined to be. Show business is hard, but I love it and put in the work. “No’s” don’t deter me, they inspire me to work harder!
And work hard she has! Selma recently took home the prize on the Netflix series Nailed It, and has released two seasons of her YouTube cooking series, Cluck That. You can follow all of Selma’s greatness on IG, @SelmaNillaNYC.
Selma’s dress is by Domino Couture.
