Chavista sympathizers have painted murals in Caracas to show their support and request the release of Alex Saab, a Colombian businessman detained in Cape Verde and whom the United States is asking for extradition by accusing him of being a front man for Nicolás Maduro.

In images captured by Rayner Peña’s camera from the Efe agency, you can see the graffiti in support of the Colombian in various areas of Caracas.

“Alex Saab is all of us”, “Freedom now for diplomat Alex Saab. Compatriot fighter ”are some of the messages on the murals.

Nicolás Maduro’s regime organized a concert last Saturday in Diego Ibarra Square to demand the release of the Colombian businessman.

As often happens in the activities of the ruling party, in the Diego Ibarra square there are no biosafety measures: in photos released by Chavistas, people are seen without masks and there are hundreds of them agglomerated in front of the stage.

Among the artists of the concert is Omar Acedo, partner of Daniela Cabello, daughter of Diosdado Cabello, who appears in videos singing « Solo with you. »

In addition to calling for the release of Saab, the attendees demand that the United States cease the « blockade » against Venezuela, referring to the sanctions imposed by that country and the European Union on the Maduro regime for its alleged illegal activities, the violation of human rights in the country and disrespect for the Constitution.
