The United States Office of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has extended the temporary closure of enrollment centers to the program known as the “Trusted Traveler Program” until at least July 6, 2020.

CBP announced that it is taking this precautionary measure
in order to minimize exposure of the public and its staff to potential
coronavirus infections (COVID-19).

Temporary closure applies to all publicly accessible Global Entry enrollment centers, NEXUS enrollment centers, SENTRI enrollment centers, and FAST enrollment locations. Global Entry mobile enrollment modules will also be paused until further notice.

On the other hand, conditionally-approved Trusted Traveler Program applicants seeking an interview at an Enrollment Center must reschedule their appointment after July 6 using the online scheduling tool.

These applicants are encouraged to check their email and Trusted Traveler Program accounts for more information. CBP will continue to monitor the situation so that we can resume the registration center interviews as soon as possible.

CBP’s Enrollment on Arrival program will continue
operating, so approved Global Entry applicants
they may conditionally complete the registration process upon arrival at a
International flight to any of the airports that offer this program.

In response to the pandemic by COVID-19, CBP extended the
period of time in which Trusted Traveler Program applications
they remain active. All applicants now have 485 days from
date CBP conditionally approves your request to complete the
Registration process. In addition, CBP will extend benefits for up to 18 months
of the Trusted Traveler Program of members requesting renewal before
your current membership expires.

It is important to mention that CBP’s highest priority is
