One of the best players of his era and current member of the Portland Trail Blazers are two phrases that define Carmelo Anthony. However, the forward is much more than that and lately he has stood out for being a man who collaborates a lot with the community. A new proof of this is the massive donation they will make together with the brand Jordan Brand.
It is that Melo and Jordan have combined to pay 32 university scholarships to different boys from the United States, originating from New York, Chicago, Charlotte and Portland. Raised between Baltimore and the New York suburbs, Anthony seeks to try to give opportunities to the most vulnerable to try to give them a better life.
The program, which will allow these boys to have the full four years of paid education at the university of their choice, was confirmed by Anthony himself with a video on his social networks.
