It was in September 2020 that Capcom confirmed that it works on various Monster Hunter projects. The first of them is Monster Hunter Rise, a title on the way to Nintendo Switch that we already know enough details about.

On the other hand, there is Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, a sequel to the original title for Nintendo 3DS that will also arrive this year on the hybrid console. If you’re excited for both releases, you’ll be happy to hear that Capcom will reveal more details about them soon.

This will be possible thanks to a new edition of Monster Hunter Digital Event, a transmission where progress of both projects will be shared for the anniversary of the series. It will be the first time Capcom has revealed more details about Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin.

When will the new Monster Hunter Digital Event be?

Capcom confirmed that their new digital event will take place next month. Fans of the hunting franchise will be able to find out all the news on March 8, at 8:00 AM, Mexico City time.

The studio confirmed that there will be previews for both Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter Stories 2. No links for the stream have been shared at this time, but it can probably be viewed on YouTube and Twitch.

On the same day, a new Monster Hunter Rise gameplay will be released to show more of its action, hunting tutorials will be released, and there will be a Q&A with Yasunori Ichinose, Game Director.

As if that were not enough, on March 11 there will be a live broadcast with part of the Monster Hunter Rise community. As always, here we will have you coverage with all the announcements about the series.

It is important to remember that Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin does not have a release date yet, but plans are for it to be available this year as well. The sequel will launch for the Nintendo Switch sometime in the summer.
