On February 11 of this year, President Luis Arce announced that Bolivia will have 500,000 Chinese vaccines against COVID-19.
The presidential spokesman said that the arrival of the vaccines is part of a comprehensive plan to fight against COVID-19 It has three pillars: coordination between different government agencies, rapid tests and immunization of the population.
To date, the South American country accumulates 239,524 positive cases, 11,353 deaths and 182,534 recovered (76.2 percent) since the start of the pandemic, in March 2020, according to the Ministry of Health.
