The first of two confrontations between Barça and PSG has become the most watched round of 16 in United States history.
At Camp Nou on Tuesday evening, the Paris Saint Germain struck a big blow by curling the FC Barcelona (1-4) in the knockout stages of the Champions League. A high-level performance followed around the world, and especially in the United States.
According to the Spanish-speaking American TV network Univision, the exploits of Kylian Mbappé and others were seen by 1.07 million American viewers, with a peak of 1.43 million. Unheard of for a round of 16 in the European Cup.

As a reminder, in France, the exclusive broadcaster RMC Sport has also been a hit with audiences, with 1.5 million cumulative viewers. A record this season for the pay channel.
