Banco Santander celebrates Black Friday with a campaign of pre-granted loans and discounts on Avios

Banco Santander launches, on the occasion of Black Friday, a financing campaign for its private clients amounting to 75,000 million euros and with a special interest rate of 3.95% TIN. Clients can access this promotion through consumer loans or splitting purchases with their credit card under preferential conditions.

Also during the month of November, Santander offers loans and pre-granted credits for more than 10,000 million euros for the self-employed and companies. The bank establishes personalized prices per product according to the client’s profile, including loans, credits, financing of the payment of invoices to suppliers (Agile Payment) and advance payment of invoices (Agile Collection), which the client can allocate both to address their needs of liquidity at the end of the year to finance the investments of the next year. In addition, the entity has specially designed offers with price reductions for specific sectors such as tourism, health, pharmacies, franchises or horeca (hotels, restaurants and cafeterias).

The entity specified that this initiative reinforces Banco Santander’s commitment to SMEs, a priority segment for the entity in which it strongly supports, supporting entrepreneurship and investment through access to very favorable financing conditions. In fact, it has already made more than 90,000 million euros available to companies, SMEs and the self-employed since the beginning of the pandemic, being the market leader in ICO loans with a 27% share.

Avios Campaign

At the same time, the bank has just launched its new Santander One business strategy this month, a new model for individuals and companies based on a single account associated with essential services with zero commissions for linked customers and the possibility of contracting, if they wish, plans of personalized value-added services under the subscription model, a pioneer in the financial industry.

Within the framework of this new plan, Banco Santander has sealed a strategic alliance with Iberia to launch an ambitious plan to attract and retain individuals and companies, Santander One Iberia Plus, which these days can be contracted free of charge. The agreement gives customers access to Avios redeemable for flights, hotel nights at Paradores and other chains, car rental or leisure and gastronomy experiences. Santander customers accumulate Avios for their normal operations and for contracting products.

For customers registered for the Iberia Plus Plan of Santander One and on the occasion of Black Friday, the entity will raffle a package of 500,000 Avios for purchases made with credit cards between November 23 and 30 (each purchase gives right to a participation in the raffle or two in the case of mobile payment). The Avios obtained in all purchases made with credit cards during that period will also be multiplied by two, as well as those obtained by direct debit of the payroll (30,000 Avios, from November 23 to December 4), digital insurance contracting -My Home Santander Insurance, Santander Aegon Health Insurance, Santander Mapfre Auto Insurance and Life Insurance Range Protección- (10,000 Avios, from November 23 to December 4) and renting (50,000 Avios for contracting the Fiat 500 Lounge Hybrid on November 27).

In addition, Banco Santander will not apply commissions to its clients, from November 23 to December 2, in the purchase of securities (whether they are individuals or companies). For freelancers, businesses and companies, the entity eliminates the management commission in Agile Collection and the commission for each payment made in Agile Payment (for three months from the conclusion of each contract or for six months if both products are contracted).
