ATP Gstaad 2021: Garin advances with a firm step and is already in the quarterfinals

Cristian Garin came to ATP Gstaad 2021 with the status, neither more nor less, than second-seeded. Unique opportunity for the Chilean to reach great heights and, why not, add a new title to his record. His debut came against the Australian Marc Polmans, coming from the previous phase, and the South American tennis player showed an absolutely overwhelming version: 6-3, 6-0 in a duel that lasted just over 50 minutes and that showed that the conditions in Gstaad are to his liking. Already in the quarterfinals, the other side of the network will appear Hugo Gaston, who gave the surprise by beating Federico Delbonis in a very even duel (6-0, 6-7 (2), 7-6 (3)).

Other round of 16 matches:

Laslo Djere (6) d. Zizou Bergs (Q) 6-2, 4-6, 6-2
