After the music streaming war comes the fight for podcasts: Amazon has decided to follow in the lead of Spotify and has included these podcasts in its music service. Accessible from the web, in mobile apps and with devices that include Alexa. Of course, at the moment in Spain they are not available.
Gone are the times when a specific podcast application was needed to play this multimedia content: now we can listen to them even after doing a Google search. Spotify is promoting podcasts within its catalog, for example, its competition Deezer also has a wide selection of them. And Amazon music is the following: the company has announced the premiere of podcasts on its music platform. Available to free and ‘premium’ users, although at the moment with geographic limitation.

Amazon today announced the news by also offering access to the new section of the platform: those who are in one of the four launch countries can listen to the podcasts through this link, also in the respective mobile applications. And Alexa devices also expand compatibility by keeping the play point for users to don’t have to start all over when switching devices.
Amazon Music has incorporated a large catalog of podcasts, some of great caliber.
