At least three Spanish soldiers from the European Union mission in Mali (EUTM-Mali) have been injured this Tuesday in the African country when they were involved in a traffic accident with the vehicle in which they were traveling.
The three injured have been taken by helicopter to the Role 2 hospital at the Koulikoro training camp, where they are being treated.
The accident occurred at 8:45 a.m. (local time), when the vehicle in which the soldiers were traveling was involved in a collision with a truck, according to EUTM-Mali through its Twitter account.
The Spanish injured are evolving in the hospital and during this Wednesday they will be evacuated to Spain, according to sources from the Defense Staff have informed Europa Press.
