Argentina totals 2,046,795 COVID-19 cases

Argentina confirmed today 7,671 cases of the disease
Covid-19 and totaled 2,046,795 positives since the beginning of the outbreak in March 2020, according to the latest report from the Ministry of Health of that country.

The health portfolio reported that in the last 24 hours there were 242 deaths, and the number of fatalities rose to 50,857.

The total number of people recovered since the beginning of the epidemic is 1,849,451, while 146,487 remain as active confirmed cases.

The province of Buenos Aires continues to be the district with the most cases of Covid-19 with 854,310 positives, followed by the city of Buenos Aires (Federal Capital) with 224,931 infections and in third place is the province of Santa Fe (center), with a total of 212,969 positives.

The Government of Argentina maintains the measures of Social, Preventive and Compulsory Distancing (DISPO) to control the epidemic of Covid-19, a policy that will extend in principle until next February 28.
