Argentina reaches 51,000 deaths from COVID-19

Argentina today reached the figure of 51,000 deaths from the disease of the new
Coronavirus (COVID-19) after reporting 143 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health of that country.

The South American country registered 7,886 new infections with a total of 2,054,681 positives, of which the majority correspond to patients who have managed to overcome the disease.

The number of recovered is 1,855,645, while 148,036 remain as active confirmed cases, detailed the health portfolio.

Of the active cases, about 3,608 transit the disease in Intensive Care Units (ICU) with a bed occupancy rate of 54.2 percent nationwide and 59.3 percent in the Metropolitan Area of ​​Buenos Aires (AMBA ), which includes the federal capital.
