The American multinational Apple presented on Tuesday its new smart watch model, the Apple Watch Series 6, which adds a new sensor to measure the oxygen level in the blood in fifteen seconds.
In a digital presentation from the company’s headquarters in Cupertino, California, USA, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Apple announced the new device, which emits red and infrared light on the wrist and evaluates the received reflection to estimate the blood color and, consequently, oxygen level.
In addition to the Apple Watch Series 6, it is expected that the firm led by Tim Cook will also present an updated version of its iPad tablets this Tuesday, but this time there will be no new iPhone phone, since the logistical difficulties derived from the pandemic have forced a postponement your advertisement.
Aesthetically, the Apple Watch Series 6 is quite similar to the previous models, but it features the largest range of colors available to date, with versions in gold, blue, red and graphite.
The processor of the new smartwatch from the apple-bitten company is the S6, which according to Apple improves performance by 20%, and is based on the A13 microchip of its own manufacture.
The first Apple Watch went on the market in 2015 and, since then, the company has tried to focus its projection on the market as a product closely linked to health, a bet that is redoubled this year with the blood oxygen sensor.

Along with the Watch Series 6, the company also announced a simpler and cheaper model of smartwatch, the Apple Watch SE, with an S5 processor and very similar to the Series 3 model of 2017.
The new smartwatch models, which can be purchased online starting today, are priced starting at $ 399 for the Series 6 and $ 279 for the SE.
