An answer to the AirPods Pro with noise cancellation and low latency

Realme has just presented its Realme Buds Air Pro, the Chinese company’s alternative to Apple’s AirPods. It is a wireless headset, with a fairly low latency and promise great bass response. Noise cancellation is another of its priorities, a point quite to take into account.

We are going to analyze the technical characteristics and specifications of these new headphones with active noise cancellation, good design and a very promising driver unit.

Noise cancellation and go for the bass

The Realme Buds Air Pro bet, at the design level, on lines that we already know, since they are nailed to Apple headphones. They are quite light, weighing only 5 grams. The ear rubbers are made of silicone, to avoid irritations and allergies. However, the most important thing is the hardware of these new headphones.

Realme has incorporated a custom chip in these headphones. They have called it S1, it is 28 nanometers and promises low power consumption and helps in active noise cancellation. Speaking of noise cancellation, it works both actively and passively. They promise a maximum noise reduction of 35 decibelsAs well as that the double microphone is capable of picking up ambient noise to eliminate outside sounds.

They also have a 10nm driver that promises to boost the bass. Similarly, the sound algorithms have been adjusted so that the response to such bass is always accurateSo, on paper, there is a good combination of hardware and software.

Similarly, the Realme Buds Air Pro have a low latency gaming mode, which allow them to run with 94ms latency. This mode is only activated when we activate the game mode, otherwise, they will work with slightly more than double the latency. If we talk about battery, they promise 20 hours of battery with active noise cancellation and 25 without it (with box). Without box, the autonomy is 5 hours at 50% volume with the ANC active.

Versions and price of the Realme Air Buds Pro

The Realme Air Buds Pro will arrive in Spain at a price of 79.99 euros. They will go on sale the next day of December 3, so we will have to wait a bit before being able to enjoy them.
