A tremendous plug of Bam Adebayo on Jayson tatum 2.5 seconds from the end of extra time (the basket would have meant a tie) was the key play of the victory of Miami Heat before Boston Celtics 117-114 in the first game of the Eastern Conference Finals.
The duel was dominated by those of Massachusetts for most of the time, but those of Florida came back, forced extra time and, led by a Jimmy butler tremendous in the final minutes, they rose with victory.
The Celtics were ahead on the scoreboard for most of the game and in the fourth quarter they had advantages of more than ten points. However, the Heat knew how to suffer to end up winning.
« Playoff Jimmy » did it again. He hit a 3-pointer from the corner at the end of key regulation time to reach extra time. Then, in overtime, he scored another basket against Tatum important to the victory.
Let’s not forget the 14-point 4th quarter deficit we had to overcome …
Playoff Jimmy led that charge again!

Butler finished the game with 20 points and fifty percent shooting from the field. The Heat’s leading scorer was Goran Dragic with 29 points. Jae Crowder finished with 22 points and the hero Adebayo with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. From the bench, Tyler Herro touched the triple-double with 12 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists.
In the Celtics, who played at a high level almost the entire match, but who let themselves go at the end and paid for it dearly, the great game of Jayson Tatum was useless (30 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists). Marcus Smart finished with 26 points, Kemba Walker with 19 and Jaylen Brown with 17.
Seen what was seen in the first confrontation, it seems that we are going to live a long series full of alternatives.
