« The forecast we made is being fulfilled in the sense that the crisis would have a ‘V’ -shaped behavior: we would fall to the bottom, as happened in April, but we would get out of the hole, as in fact it has been happening. The economy begins to grow ”, said the Chief Executive.
López Obrador also said that he hopes to recover in March the jobs registered by the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) that have been lost during the pandemic.
« Of the million formal jobs lost, 500 thousand have already been recovered. I think that next March we will be able to reach again the 20 million 500 thousand jobs that the IMSS had registered before the pandemic, » he said.
