Known the premieres of series and film that Amazon Prime Video has planned for the month of August.

In the field of cinema, Prime Video in August will have the premieres of blockbusters like Megalodon, where we see Jason Statham fight against the most titanic of maritime nature. For those who love family comedy, Big Spies will come with Dave Bautista, better known as a former professional wrestler and the invisible man Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy.

My Chemical Hearts

The adaptation of the youth novel that tells the unexpected romance of two teenagers. Starring Lili Reinhart and Austin Abrams. Immerse yourself in the story of Henry Page, who knows Grace Town, someone who is nothing like Henry envisioned as his first love.

Bread and Circus

Premiere: August 7

Witness the menus of some of the best chefs in Mexico, which will accompany a pleasant chat between experts and different personalities, moderated by actor Diego Luna. Each chapter will cover a topic of utmost importance for the country and for the entire world. To address these issues, the food of six renowned chefs will also be integrated into the episode, putting the bread, as a preamble to the circus.

Big spies

Premiere: August 27

A rude CIA agent finds himself at the mercy of a 9-year-old girl when he is assigned to an undercover operation to monitor his family. A family comedy, full of action and laughter. Dave Bautista is JJ and Chloe Coleman star.


Premiere: August 29

A group of marine scientists and explorers discover a grotto that allows access to a much deeper and more hidden section of the ocean. There they find various animals that were believed to be extinct, including a terrible massive shark that will put them in great trouble. It is Shark taken to another level and with the action characteristic of the Jason Statham films who stars.

Escape Pact

Premiere: August 28

Based on a true story that happened in 1990, where 49 political prisoners try to escape through a tunnel that took 18 months to dig. This case became known as « Operation Success » and sought to free political prisoners who arrived there during the Pinochet dictatorship, for attacks against the dictator. It is an exciting film, directed by David Albala.

Gilda: I do not regret this love

Premiere: August 7

The intimate and little-known life of Miriam Alejandra Bianchi, who became an idol of Argentine popular song under the stage name of Gilda (in honor of the character of Rita Hayworth), in a film that rescues her authenticity, her charisma and her vindication of women’s rights in her songs during two stages of her life: one, which shows Gilda as a child and teenager with her father, the artist’s artistic inspiration; and the other in his maturity, when he decides to commit to his own dream and make it come true, even facing representatives who wanted to take advantage of his growing popularity and tried to cut his career.
