Aiden English is now called Matt Rehwoldt. He hasn’t wrestled since his WWE firing, but he’s about to snap that idle streak.
Aiden English returns as an active fighter
Rehwoldt is set to make his return to the ring when he faces Nick Brubaker at the September 17 Zelo Pro Wrestling event. The event is scheduled to take place in Chicago, but will also air on FITE TV.
A fan also tweeted to AEW after Miro’s debut. He begged All Elite Wrestling to sign Matt Rehwoldt to which he responded with a thoughtful emoji. Apparently there is interest there.
Like Aiden English, WWE put him in a comment near the end of his run. He was still in great shape, but he wasn’t fighting. We’ll have to see what’s next for Matt Rehwoldt, but the former Aiden English hasn’t given up on ring action.
