The interim president of Bolivia, Jeanine Añez Chavez, confirmed on Thursday that she had tested positive for the coronavirus, which is why she is isolated in her home.
«Together with all my team we have been working for Bolivian families during all this time. And since in the last week many of them tested positive for the coronavirus, I did the test and I have also tested positive, ”said Añez through a video posted on her Twitter account.

The interim president of Bolivia assured that she will be isolated for at least 14 days “until I do a new test, to see how I am doing.”

For his part, the president of the National Constituent Assembly of Venezuela and number two of Chavismo, Diosdado Cabello, also confirmed on Thursday that he had contracted the coronavirus.
