Potiguar team defender talks about coronavirus and is against the return of football
With an increase of 563% of infected by Covid-19 in the last month in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, the player Vinícius do ABC shows a lot of concern about the possible return of Brazilian football at this moment. Several clubs are coming back with training, even if still with all medical care, which indicates that in the near future the calendar of competitions should already have scheduled dates and times. Aware of this situation, the defender did not hesitate to give his opinion and proved to be totally against it.

– We are in a critical scenario. The lap at this time can be harmful not only for athletes, but for all the family members involved. Unfortunately football is not essential for the population, although our desire for a return is great. The more we respect the isolation, the sooner we will return to training – he said.
Asked about football within the four lines, Vinícius spoke about the team’s goals for the year and recalled a remarkable moment in his career.
– We have two major goals: to be State champion and gain access. Of course we are looking for the classification of the Copa do Nordeste as well, in case the competition continues, but the priority is the Brazilian and Potiguar, and in that order. Even at the Natal City Cup (1st round) it was a very remarkable moment in my trajectory. I hope to be able to continue after the pandemic – he concluded.
