A large legion of Mexicans ahead of MLB 2021

One more season of Major League Baseball is about to begin, and the Spring Camp of the 2021 campaign has a total of 41 players and 5 coaches directly related to Mexico, 27 of them born in the national territory and 19 who, although they saw their first light in another nation, have Mexican ancestry or descent and have the desire to defend the green, white and red flag by personal choice.

Of the latter, seven have already dressed in the green flannel, while the remaining 12 have expressed their desire to do so, including the current runner-up Randy Arozarena, who a few days ago recorded a video asking President López Obrador for his help to carry it out.

The future looks promising, because of the large total, at least 15 of the 17 that are in the active rosters of their respective teams seem to have a guaranteed place, and at least 5 that for now are considered as reserves are expected with possibilities of obtaining a space, as well as at least one of those who only received the invitation for the Spring training. In other words, the Aztec representative will be numerous … and not only in diamonds, as there will also be five green blood coaches representing us, including the current manager of the national team, that in a few months he will be looking for a medal at the Tokyo Olympics.

Next, La Afición gives you the complete list, without any missing, of all the players that in 2021 will seek to make up the Mexican contingent in the Big Top:
