One of the video game franchises with decades of history is Tomb Raider, the property of Square Enix. In addition, it is one of those that despite the passage of time is still in force today. The franchise is approaching its 24th anniversary and Square Enix appears to be looking to celebrate with a collection that offers the ultimate Lara Croft experience.

This is believed because an image that Game Rant shared emerged, in which it is seen that the game would include several installments of the bounty hunter under the name Tomb Raider: The Ultimate Experience.

In case you missed it: in July you can get a free Tomb Raider game with PlayStation Plus.

The collection would invite to relive « Lara’s greatest adventures in a definitive package. » What makes one think that at least 3 games will be included in the series is the promotional image of the upper part, in which 3 generations of Lara Croft are seen, one from the decade of the last millennium, another from the 2000s and the one that seems to correspond to the one of the restart of the series that was run by Crystal Dynamics.

Thus, Square Enix could be preparing a collection of at least 1 game of each generation, and some even think that the package could be more ambitious and include several more installments per generation.

In case you missed it: a new Lara Croft movie is on the way.

Is Tomb Raider: The Ultimate Experience real?

As you know, Square Enix has not confirmed this definitive package, so all this should be taken as unofficial information, since there is always the possibility that it is a false image.

However, it seems we wouldn’t have to wait that long to find out if Square Enix works on this collection, as the image mentions the release date is August 27, so the developer would have to talk about it within the next month. . It is important to say that soon Square Enix will hold a presentation with their games « in July or August », so it is very likely that it will reveal this title there.

If the information is true, the title would be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC and Google STADIA. We leave you with the alleged promotional image.
