Triumph worked very Portland Trail Blazers before the Dallas mavericks of Luka doncic by 124-121 that leaves them eighth in the Western Conference and in which Damian Lillard finished with 61 points.

This triumph leaves the Blazers with 34 wins and 39 losses in eighth place in the West (they have one more win than the Memphis Grizzlies and Phoenix Suns, as both have played one game less, something that benefits the Oregon team).

The game was huge and it was decided in the last minutes. A slap from Jusuf Nurkic put the equalizer at 117 with more than 5 minutes to go. After several exchanges of baskets and free throws, the madness of the triples arrived. The Mavs took a 3-point lead twice, but first Carmelo Anthony and then Damian Lillard with a triple from home that bounced off the rim, flew into the sky and fell flat to the net, leaving the duel tied at 130. In the last actions the Blazers were more successful and took the game.

Lillard finished with 61 points, becoming the only player alongside Wilt Chamberlain to score more than three times sixty points in the same NBA season.

Melo helped with great defensive activity and 26 points to his credit. In the Mavs, who played a great game, the best was Kristaps Porzingis with 36 points. Luka Doncic finished with 25 points and 10 assists.

The Blazers depend on themselves to reach the Play-In Round of 16.

The Mavs will finish seventh the season and will almost certainly face the Los Angeles Clippers in the playoffs.
