5 indie games with big discounts in December 2020

The Nintendo Switch has good deals on independent games and here are some that will make you have a merry Christmas.

The season of giving is approaching and on the Nintendo Switch they are giving great discounts on games that you must have in your collection. So If you want to spend a great Christmas with excellent games, there are no better options than the ones we present below.

Blasphemus – 50%

One of the best games that we have seen leaving Spain and go there they make spectacular games.

This title is very similar to a 2D Dark Souls but with a theme focused on the Christian religion and its symbolism. It is brutal, challenging, a lot of fun and with beautiful visuals. It is certainly a game that you must have in your collection.

Overcooked! 2 – 50%

Going to a less gory game, we have the funniest multiplayer game ever. Here you will have to cook with your friends different dishes to be able to feed the horde of zombies that are approaching you.

There are many very original levels where cooking will not be an easy task and where you will test the coordination you have with your friends in the kitchen. It sounds weird, I know, but it’s a gem.

Yooka-Laylee – 75%

The platform game that comes to us from the creators of Banjo-Kazooie you are at such a discount that it would be crazy not to take advantage of it.

Instead of handling a bear and a bird, here we handle a chameleon and a bat, who will have to defeat an evil bee businessman before he takes control of a very valuable book. It’s honestly a lot of fun.

My Time at Portia – 75%

Maybe it doesn’t seem like it, but we have here a post apocalyptic game, where we are told about the life that the protagonist had in a place called Portia before all the misfortune happened.

According to critics and many fans of the game, it’s one of the best indie experiences you can come across, so give it a try.

Morbid: The Seven Acolythes – 20%

This game has long been released for other consoles, but it has just been released on the Switch. And if we start with something Souls style and with beautiful but grotesque visuals, we end the list in the same way.

Here you will face Lovecraftian horrors and disturbing creatures inspired by the horrors created by filmmaker David Cronenberg. So you can imagine that cosmic terror is the order of the day. You simply cannot miss it.
