The star brand unveiled its flagship of the brand with notable improvements in performance and equipment. Originally, this model will debut first on the Asian continent and will subsequently reach other markets from the second half of 2021.
The first thing that stands out in this model is the 180 millimeter increase in the wheelbase compared to what the long S-Class version shows.
The exterior shows a much more elegant grille thanks to several chrome bars along with a slim design in terms of the front and the back. As we have seen in previous models, Mercedes Maybach uses the cutting edge in automotive lighting called DIGITAL LIGHT, which allows images to be reflected on the asphalt.
Inside; the sobriety and the space stand out completely since it is 50 millimeters wider than the previous model. The finishes are of the highest quality and allow comfort to be one of its greatest attributes thanks to the fact that the seats are reclining and heated; even for the neck and shoulders.
In mechanical terms, the basic Maybach S 450 4MATIC version uses a 3.0-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder that develops a maximum power of 367 horsepower. To this is added the 48 Volt MHEV technology, which provides 21 more horses.
The second version called Maybach S 580 4MATIC will have the 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine and a maximum power of 503 horses plus 20 that the alternator assists and within this same version; will offer a variant with pluggable hybrid technology.
Finally, Maybach S 680 4MATIC will have the V12 engine and will have a maximum power of 612 horsepower.
