Aleister Black was pulled from television this week as Seth Rollins drilled his head into the padded pavement. Now we will have to see how long that Kayfabe injury lasts.
The former NXT champion ran to save himself as Rollins and Murphy were about to inflict indescribable damage to Rey Mysterio’s son. This cost Black a segment that created a reason to drop him off television.
TalkSport’s Alex McCarthy explained that Vince McMahon is a fan of Black as an artist, but fears that the former Tommy End’s personake will limit him in WWE in general.
If Vince McMahon is concerned about how Aleister Black’s character might limit him, then that might require a character change. WWE has taken wrestlers off television for months to renew its presentation.

Aleister Black is hugely popular and many fans were angered to see him treated that way on RAW this week.
We can only imagine the answer when they discover that Vince McMahon doesn’t believe Black’s character holds up when it comes to broader appeal.
