But what if I told you that I have a bunch of Halloween punch recipes that are just as low-stress, incredibly tasty, and have * just * the right amount of spook? No seriously, most of these recipes are just two words: “combine” and “enjoy.” DW, though, if you’re looking to go the bigger-is-better route, there are definitely some fantastically over-the-top punch options for you to try out (sprinkle rimmed cocktail glasses, anyone?)

1 Spiked Jolly Rancher Punch
Combine 3 cups pineapple juice, 64 oz. bottle of cranberry juice, 1 bottle of sparkling apple cider, 33 oz. of ginger ale, 24 oz. of passion fruit or raspberry-infused Skyy vodka, serve over ice, and enjoy.

2 Halloween Pumpkin Punch
Combine 750 ml bottle of spiced rum, 1 cup of orange juice, 1 cup of lemon juice, 1 cup of spiced syrup (see below), 1/2 cup of pumpkin puree. Strain, and chill until you’re ready to serve. Pour into your punchbowl, add 2 1/2 cups of sparkling water and cinnamon sticks for garnish.
For the spiced syrup: Add 6 whole cloves, 6 allspice berries, 1 cinnamon stick, 1 star anise pod, 6 white peppercorns, and 1/2 a nutmeg to a saucepan over medium heat. Add 1/2 cup of demerara sugar and 1/2 cup of water, stirring constantly to dissolve the sugar. Bring to a simmer and turn heat to low. After 10 minutes, remove from heat and strain. Cool to room temperature.

3 Pomegranate Ginger Punch
In a large pitcher, stir together 1/4 cup of cold water, 1/4 cup of superfine sugar, 32 oz. of pomegranate juice, 6 oz. of Everclear, and 1/4 cup of lime juice (about three limes). Chill until you’re ready to serve. Then, stir in 24 oz. of ginger beer and enjoy. If you’d like, you can garnish with fresh lime and pomegranate seeds.

4 Hocus Pocus Punch
Combine 6 cups of apple cider, 2 cups of cranberry juice, 12 oz. of orange seltzer, 1 cup of ginger ale, and 1/4 cup of maraschino cherry juice in a pitcher. Stir in 1/3 cup of maraschino cherries, 2 sliced apples, and 2 sliced oranges, and serve.

5 Mulled Cider with Bourbon
Pour 1/2 gallon of apple cider into a large pot over medium-high heat. Add 1 Granny Smith apple (diced), 1 orange peel (torn), and 3 cinnamon sticks. Stir in 1/4 cup of sugar until dissolved. Then, bring to a low boil and reduce heat. Simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Add 1/2 cup of bourbon and then simmer for another 10 to 15 minutes. Serve warm.

6 Spiced Blood Orange Champagne Punch
Combine 3 cups of blood orange juice, 3 tablespoons sugar, and 2 whole star anise in a small pot and bring to boil over medium-high heat. Then, reduce to medium-low heat and simmer until the mixture has been reduced by half. Stir in 1 cup of dry white wine and let the mixture cool. Then, chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours. To serve, add 3 tablespoons of the blood orange mixture to each glass and top with brut chilled champagne.

7 Spooky Halloween Punch
Rim each glass with corn syrup and then dip into the Halloween-colored sprinkles. Then, fill 1/3 of each glass with grape juice. Add 2 ounces of pineapple juice and finish off with lemon-lime soda.

8 Dracula’s Blood Punch
Pour 70 oz. of cherry juice into a large saucepan and add 4 orange peels, 1 small, red chili, 3 cinnamon sticks, 10 cloves, and 6 slices of peeled ginger. Simmer for five minutes, then turn off the heat. Strain if you’d prefer a smoother texture. Then, cool and chill for up to 2 days. Serve in a pitcher and enjoy.

9 Zombie Halloween Punch
Combine 2 liters of lemon-lime soda and 64 oz. of lemonade in a large punch bowl. Then, add 1/2 cup of blue raspberry Kool-Aid powder and mix until combined. Add 1 3/4 quart of lime sherbert (don’t mix in). Garnish with gummy worms, brains, and body parts for the full spooky effect.

10 Scorpion Venom Punch
Add 3 oz. of Jello mix to a large container. Add 1 cup of boiling water and stir until the Jello dissolves. Add 1 cup of cold water, stir, then add 1 1/2 cups of pineapple juice. Let the mixture chill before adding 8 oz. of vodka to serve.

11 Devil’s Dark and Stormy Punch
Combine 2 cups of dark rum, 6 cups of ginger beer, 1/2 cup of simple syrup, 1/2 cup of fresh lime juice, and 2 sliced limes in a large bowl and mix well. Serve over ice.

12 Swamp Sipper
Fill a cocktail shaker about halfway with ice. Add 1.5 oz. of rum, 1 oz. of pineapple juice, 1.2 oz. of blue curacao, and 1 oz. of lemon juice then shake until the container becomes frosty. Pour into glasses and top with lemon-lime soda. If you’d like, you can experiment with dry-ice for a sun, smoky effect. Just be sure not to enjoy your punch until add dry ice has dissolved.

In a large pot, combine 1 gallon of apple cider, 2 liters of ginger ale, 1 cup of orange juice, 1 cup of caramel syrup, and 1/3 cup of lemon juice. Chill until ready to serve. Add 4 chopped apples and 4 cups of ice to the mixture. Finally, rim glasses with caramel ice cream topping and flaky salt before serving.

Microwave at 12 oz. can of green frosting for one minute until it becomes liquid. Then, rim your cups in the frosting and some Halloween sprinkles and set them aside. In a blender, combine 1 banana, 1 bottle of Cascade Ice Kiwi Strawberry, 1 bottle of Cascade Ice Orange Mango, 1/2 cup of coconut milk, and 2 cups of ice until smooth. Pour, decorate to your liking, and serve.
