Guadalajara (Mexico), Nov 21 . .- The Chivas de Guadalajara defeated Necaxa 1-0 this Saturday in the play-off of the 2020 Apertura of Mexican football and with this they got their pass to the quarterfinals of the tournament.
For Guadalajara, trained by Víctor Manuel Vucetich, Jesús Angulo converted at minute 54.
Guadalajara dominated the first half and got tired of reaching the area and failing, while Necaxa did not generate offense.
With 71 percent of the possession, the Chivas had more than four shots from Ángel Zaldívar, and the clearest one, a post from Gilberto Sepúlveda in the 42nd from Jesús Angulo.
Guadalajara maintained their offensive proposal and with only one minute in the second half, Isaác Brizuela fired on the edge of the area over the crossbar.
